An exciting opportunity for young filmmakers and their friends to learn filmmaking tools in a casual, creative environment. In this flexible workshop, students explore storytelling, develop and refine camera skills, learn editing, and develop a personal project while meeting and working with other student filmmakers. It is a great place to work on independent study projects and college portfolios. Students work at their own speed with the support of Light House mentors and other students; attendance is optional and on an as-needed or as-wanted basis. Equipment provided. Drop in any time!

Don’t have a project in mind, but eager to add more to your reel? Want to enter a film contest for a chance to win a $10,000 scholarship? Check out this video challenge, and work on your project during Open Studio!

Mentor: Light House Educational Director, Amanda Patterson
