Kids Swing Golf Tournament

Light House Studio was honored to be the beneficiary of the Albemarle Country Rotary Club’s Kids Swing Golf Tournament. The event took place on Monday, June 16 at the beautiful Old Trail Golf Course in Crozet. The tournament paired junior and adult golfers together in a Captain’s Choice game that culminated in a barbecue lunch from Restoration Restaurant, followed by a Raffle and Silent Auction.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Rotary Club’s generous donation to Light House Studio. A special thanks to 2014 Kids Swing Committee Chair, Bill Hines, and Club President, Judy Smith, for their effort and dedication. Funds from this event will be used to bring Light House Studio’s after school “Keep it REEL” workshops to neighborhoods that otherwise would not have access to these programs.

Light House students Jacob Bear, Sanders Evans, and Caroline Cox came out to Old Trail Golf Course to film the tournament and interview Rotary Club members. Take a look at their documentary about the event and scroll down to see some photos from the day!
