Documentary Filmmaking

Description
Explore cultures, investigate controversies, uncover mysteries, or reveal the truth in this Documentary workshop. Students will research, plan, film, and edit their own nonfiction film over the course of the academic year. This is a chance to make your voice heard and create a powerful film with a message!

UNIT 1: Pre-Production
October 15 – December 10 (8 sessions)
UNIT 2: Production
January 7 – February 18 (7 sessions) *Saturdays as needed.
UNIT 3: Post-production
February 25 – May 5 (10 sessions)
*some days will be skipped due to holidays

Time: Tuesdays
Time: 4:30 – 6:30 pm
Grades: 9th – 12th grades
Level: Intermediate – Advanced
