Comedy Filmmaking

Description:
What makes us laugh? In this course students will dissect that question, experimenting and analyzing different movies and the tools they use to create comedy. Students will work together to write, direct, and edit their own comedy short film. Through a mixture of riffing in the writers room, improvising on-set, and crafting the timing in the edit, students will work to get big laughs when their movie screens.
