“Milli’s Awakening” Screening

On behalf of UVA’s Religion, Race & Democracy Lab and UVA’s Center for German Studies, we would like to invite you to join us for a special film screening with Afro-German artist, activist, and scholar Natasha A. Kelly of her new film, Milli’s Awakening (Millis Erwachen, 2018). The screening is part of the Transatlantic Partnership on Memory & Democracy, a joint initiative by UVA’s Center for German Studies and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Washington DC. The screening will take place on Wednesday, April 10th at 7 pm at the Vinegar Hill Theatre, and will be followed by a Q&A with the director. Admission is free.We hope you can join us!
