In filmmaking, before there were computer generated special effects, make-up made the impossible, possible. From Frankenstein’s monster to Edward Scissorhands to the Joker, make-up artists brought countless characters to life through proven and lasting methods. In this four-week class we will explore the basics: bruises, cuts, and scrapes as we explore the dead and undead. In the final workshop students will use what they have learned to bring their own creations to life.
Each student will receive a starter make-up kit with professional grade stage make-up to use throughout the four weeks and beyond!
