Students picked an animal or plant and created camouflage costumes to hide in their environments.
Johnson Elementary students took part in a spring after-school workshop where they learned about environmental science through experiments and activities such as leaf rubbings, following food from garden to table, and animal hibernation and camouflage, all while filming stories about their discoveries. Students also learned about film equipment, camera angles, and interview techniques. And they had a LOT of fun!
