Fall Film Club features special guest Mentors from our community.
Join us for a bi-weekly film club where we’ll watch and discuss films. Guest Mentors are filmmakers or film enthusiasts with a unique perspective and approach to film criticism. Each Thursday screening will be chosen and curated by the featured guest Mentor, including their own personal work.
Following the screening we’ll discuss the cinematic and artistic devices used in the film as well as the film’s cultural impact. These critical discussions are an excellent way for students to increase their analytical abilities as well as their media literacy. It’s also an incredibly fun environment to meet peers with similar interests and to see some films you may have heard about, but never taken the time to watch.
As a Film Club member, you’ll have a ticket to each of our Fall Semester “Indies@Vinegar Hill” Screenings! These screenings are open to the public (additional tickets can be purchased here), and will feature a different independent film followed by a director Q&A!
