Description:
Adobe Premiere Pro is a professional video editing program that editors of films like Hugo, Avatar, and Deadpool have used! Do you already know how to use the tools and shortcuts of Adobe Premiere Pro, but want to learn more? In this two-day workshop, learn why and when we should make cuts while using the advanced features of Premiere Pro CC, and also what it takes to be an intuitive editor. You’ll practice on your choice of footage (commercial, short film, or music video), and get hands on help from professional editor, David Ariew.

Mentor:
David Ariew started his career in neuroscience at UVA, mapping the brain of the common fruit fly, but quickly realized his passion lay elsewhere. Determined to become a visual effects wizard, David became involved in the local filmmaking scene of Charlottesville, VA, where he quickly rose in rank as one of the most coveted post-production freelancers. Since his career shift, David has worked on numerous high profile projects for Filament Productions, and continues to develop his mad skills while you and I are sleeping.
