2017 Short Screenplay Call

SUBMIT A SCREENPLAY TO LIGHT HOUSE STUDIO’S 3rd ANNUAL SHORT SCREENPLAY CALL!

Interested in screenwriting? Want to see your story ideas developed into a short film?
Light House Studio is now accepting screenplay submissions from high school and college students throughout Virginia!

Entry Rules:
Short screenplays, less than 7 pages
PG rated – no violence, please!
Simple storyline – only a few characters, locations and action sequences. It should be film-able!

The winner’s screenplay will be used during either our Spring Narrative Intensive or Intermediate Filmmaking Workshops this summer, and he or she will also receive one-on-one feedback with one of our talented mentors. Two of last year’s screenplay submissions were filmed during our Intermediate Narrative workshop last summer, one of which was accepted to the Providence Children’s Film Festival in 2017. This is an opportunity to share your story with the world!

The deadline for entries is March 1st at 5 pm.
